Welcome to my visit to Bariloche: " We'd been traveling through Peru and Argentina for a month, and our next stop was Bariloche. We were there for a whole week, planning to take the car and explore all its magnificent lakes until we reached San Martín de los Andes, and also treat ourselves to a little rest.
I still remember that bus ride, looking out the window: immense lakes, majestic mountains, a vibrant green landscape filled with thousands of flowers celebrating spring. I remember thinking: what a wonderful place . And it was. Trails through the hills, peaceful walks, moments of reading and silence, rest among the forests, alpine-style houses, cable cars, revolving restaurants, curantos, the aroma of artisanal chocolate, and nature everywhere.
Bariloche is one of those places that seems like something out of a storybook, and it was the perfect respite in the middle of the trip."
