Why this name? "The Masai Mara is a nature reserve in Kenya, a wild place teeming with life and wild animals. We slept one night in the middle of the savannah, surrounded only by darkness, alarming sounds, and bushes swaying in the wind.
I remember dining under the stars, with the only "security" being a Maasai man roaming the area with his two-meter-long spear. He was our silent guardian, his figure appearing and disappearing into the night. Yes, I was scared to death, especially when I got back to the tent. But here I am, not eaten by a lion. What I did take away with me were the colors and geometric shapes so present in Maasai culture.
This design is my tribute to all of that.
